The mechanical industry today requires very high performance in metalworking and the use of machines that can do this. The result of these machines are finished products for light and heavy metal carpentry, plates, flanges, sheet metal cases and even pipes with square or rectangular sections.
In recent years, the installation of automatic metalworking machines has led to a great evolution in the production departments of large industry, also allowing for the digitization and improvement of production processes.
This is a significant advantage for customers who can increase their competitiveness in the market and guarantee their own level of quality of the finished product
The metal processing that can be done with our machines are many:
Now let’s see in detail what is obtained from each individual manufacturing process and which machines to use:
The deburring process consists in the removal of burrs, that is where the material that appears in excess in the products obtained by molding or by mechanical or cutting processes. The deburring therefore has the objective of cleaning the piece eliminating excess material along the contours and between joints.
Machines that carry out this processing:
The satin finishing represents a specific surface finishing treatment of metals. By using special abrasive belts, the machine is able to eliminate the surface imperfections present on the pieces and make the finish uniform. The satining is also used to prepare the piece for polishing thanks to a sequence of abrasive belts of different grains.
Machines that carry out this processing:
The edge rounding is often an essential technical requirement to guarantee the functionality of these components. Especially in the painting process, the edge rounding are essential to guarantee the quality of the finished product. Before processing the edges are at right angles (90°), after processing the same edges will have a radius that can measure over 2 mm (see section R2).
Machines that carry out this processing:
The calamine removal is the elimination of the oxide present on the surface or edges of the cut piece. This processing is necessary to prepare the piece for the following processing such as welding or painting.
Machines that carry out this processing:
The R2 process consists of radiating the entire shape of the piece up to over 2mm. This is possible thanks to the work of brushes such as those mounted on the OXY M650 4B. The available working widths are 650 and 1350 mm.

WHICH MACHINE TO CHOOSE?
The constant and homogeneous finish on the entire work surface, makes our machines perfect for any type of processing. However, the choice will depend on some specific factors such as the required useful working width, the workload and the different processes that you want to perform in a single step.
